A surface.
An entire feeling.

A quiet backdrop. A bold centrepiece. The line that brings a room together. Porcelain is part of the architecture, long before it becomes a finishing touch.

Pale surfaces, subtle movement and room for the light. A calm starting point for an open, airy interior.

Discuss this palette

Less interruption.
More possibility.

Think beyond the countertop.

Let a surface travel from the island to the splashback, frame a fireplace or give a bathroom its own atmosphere. Large formats create generous fields of colour and pattern, with joints placed as part of the design.

Design, fabrication & installation

Consider the whole room.

Veining, light and surrounding materials work together. Choose the finish and layout that belong in your space, then consider how that language continues from one room to the next.

Big ideas.
Practical answers.

There is more to choosing a surface than choosing a colour. A few thoughtful decisions early on make room for a better result.

Talk through your plans
Where do I start with material selection?

Bring room photographs, drawings or approximate dimensions, plus any finishes you have already selected. Cabinetry, flooring and natural light all influence how a surface reads. A sample helps narrow the choice; reviewing the full slab helps you understand its movement.

Can the same look continue from a worktop to a wall?

A coordinated palette can connect an island, splashback and feature wall. The right thickness, backing and fixing approach may differ between applications. Confirm the suitability of each selected product and plan the junctions before ordering.

What should I consider when planning seams?

Start with the slab dimensions, pattern direction and access to the room. Cut-outs, changes in direction and the supporting structure also affect the layout. A seam plan helps you see where pieces meet and how the veining will read across them.

How do I choose between a matte and polished finish?

Think about the light in the room and the way you use the surface. A polished finish reflects its surroundings; a matte finish gives a quieter appearance. For floors and wet areas, check the specific product’s slip rating and approved applications.

What information helps with a project inquiry?

Share the project location, the surfaces involved, approximate dimensions and your preferred timing. Drawings, appliance details and inspiration images make the next conversation more useful. Final quantities and fabrication details depend on confirmed selections and site measurements.

About Signature Porcelain

For 15 years, our team has worked with custom surfaces. We began with natural stone and developed a specialised focus on large porcelain slabs. Today, we support residential and commercial projects from the first estimate through design, fabrication and installation.

Special shapes are planned in CAD before fabrication. This helps us study cuts, junctions and vein movement across each piece. Large porcelain formats can create broad surfaces with fewer joints while offering a lighter, lower maintenance alternative for many applications.
